Why choose between beer or a cocktail when you can have both? Making a Beermosa really is a no brainer: with just three ingredients, you can’t go wrong on this one.
Opt for a light, fruity beer that doesn’t foam a lot. A refreshing IPA that’s not too hoppy is your best bet.
You’ll literally be done making this cocktail in 5 minutes, so it’s ideal to serve to any unexpected guests. The ingredients used are inexpensive, so you won’t break the bank while going fancy.
A standard Beermosa recipe calls for orange juice, but this one uses apple juice. A bit unusual and truly refreshing, save this recipe for the fall when you can get your hands on seasonal apples.
- 12 oz beer of choice
- 12 oz apple juice or apple cider
- 1 sliced apple
- Peel and slice the apple and put the slices into a jug.
- Pour beer over apple slices, making sure the beer stays as flat as possible.
- Last step: add apple juice and stir well.
Serve in a jar glass (or mason jar).
Optional: garnish with apple slices or add more to your Beermosa for an improved look and taste.
